Leland Ray Bryant passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on September 21, 1947, Leland's life was marked by a warm and compassionate spirit that profoundly touched all who knew him. He was a proud Army Veteran who served many years in the Military.

In addition to his talent for woodworking, Leland had a profound connection with nature, which was most evident in his beautifully tended garden. He found joy in the soil, surrounded by the blooms and bounty of his lovingly kept plants.

Leland was a man of many talents and passions. His love for woodworking was not just a pastime but an art that he honed over the years.

His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he relished every moment spent playing and creating memories with them.

Leland was preceded in death by his parents, Malichi and Mildred Bryant and sister, Ella Varner.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Bryant; son, Bryson Bryant; daughters, Stacey Ryall (Bobby), Holly Morris (Daniel), Kelly Phillips, Amy Stevens (Kelly), Amanda Whitt (Nathan); brothers, Ronnie Bryant, Keith Bryant, Milton Bryant; sisters, Laura Lovall, Brenda Walker; ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Rick Ethridge officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
