Leonard Joseph Strong II, 51 passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was born February 18, 1961 to Leonard Joseph Strong and Patsy Joan Strong - Corby. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, motorcycles, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. A Veteran, Mr. Strong served four years in the Marine Corps as a Corporal, and two over-seas deployments. Preceding him in death were his mother; grandparents, Rev. Robert and Maudie Montgomery, and Lester and Louise Strong.Survivors include his father; step-mother, Gladys Strong; step-sons, Micky Holland, Nick Holland; step-daughter, Mindy Surita; brother, Dan (Cheryl) Corby of Paragould; sisters, Julie Alexander, Jackie (Bryan) Easley, all of Paragould; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive guests from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Phillips Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 4:00 with military honors. The family has chosen to have a private interment at Pine Log Cemetery at a later date.
