Linda J. Hill Dixon Bateman, 80, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. She was born February 7, 1941, to the late Clifford and Myrtle Hill. Linda enjoyed gardening, fishing, and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Dixon; and four great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Terry Dixon of Marmaduke, Sherry and Dewayne Bateman of Paragould, Judy Andrews of Cherokee Village, Chris Dixon of Marmaduke, Janet Dixon of Fayetteville, Tonya Farr of Rockford, IL, Melinda and Bub Gilliam of Paragould, Ricky Mitchell of Rockford, IL, Vanessa Hawkins of Walnut Ridge, Toro and Torie Dixon of Paragould, Wesley and Melissa Dixon of Paragould, and Eric Dixon of Paragould; thirty-one grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 23, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, June 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with David White officiating. Burial will follow at Gainesville Cemetery.
