Lorey Ann Davis, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in Paragould. She was born on March 7, 1960, in Paragould, and will be remembered as a caring and giving woman who would help anyone.

Lorey worked as a paralegal, bringing dedication and care to her work. Beyond her profession, she found joy in the simple pleasures that brought people together. She loved having yard sales and also enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions, pastimes that reflected her warm, social spirit and her appreciation for everyday treasures.

Her life was also marked by a generous commitment to others. Lorey volunteered for Christmas Toy Drives and gave of herself through many volunteer opportunities. Those acts of service were a natural extension of who she was, as someone whose kindness reached widely and whose willingness to help made a lasting impression on the people around her.

She is survived by her life partner, Rocky Carlton; her mother, Zinnie Mae Ashley; her brothers, John D. Ashley, Jr. (Cleo), Larry W. Ashley, Jimmy Ray Ashley, and Jerry Dale Ashley; and her sisters, Oma Lee Ashley, Kathy Wadley (Vernon), Brenda Kay Turner, Julie Reagan (Bryon), and Susan Day (Danny). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish her memory.

Lorey was preceded in death by her father, John Ashley, Sr., and by her infant brother, Robert Ashley.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
