Louise Yates Scudder, 92, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023.  She was born July 7, 1931, to William and Leoda Yates.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Scudder; siblings, Marion Yates, R.L. Yates, and Georgia Worsham; children, Cathy Lindsey, Susie Rogers, and Kala Miller.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Billy "Buzzy" and Angie Scudder; sister, Katharine Smith; 8 grandchildren, Dawn (Tony) Martin, Celina (Dewayne) Gatlin, David Smith, Leann (Kevin) Pohl, June (Shawn) Lenderman, Ed Rogers, Nathan Scudder, and Ashley (Tommy) Willhite; and numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.
