LuAnn Murray passed away on May 1, 2014 at the age of 59 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born April 3, 1955 in Tyronza, AR to the late J.C. and Geneva Collins Smith. LuAnn loved the Lord, her family and her dog Molly.LuAnn is preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her husband, Lynn Murray; a daughter and son in law, Penny and Charlie Nowlin of Kentucky; two step daughters, Shanda Murray of Paragould, and Stacy Roberts of Thomasville, GA; five brothers, Johnny Smith, Gary Smith, Michael Smith, Kenneth Smith and Ronald Dale Smith; a sister, Phyllis Jackson of Pocahontas, AR; a grandson, Parker Nowlin; two step grandchildren, Alexis Murray and Kenley Murray. The family will receive friends Monday May 5, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 12 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Winters of Jonesboro, AR officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, AR. Pallbearers will include Charlie Cooper, Brian Hufford, Art Namors, Brian Tucker, John Pierce and David Neil Smith.
