Mackie Joe Smith Sr. - August 25, 2013 Mackie Joe Smith Sr. passed away August 25, 2013 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1945 in Paragould to Joe and Sally Smith. He loved old cars and motorcycles and watching the Braves play baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents; six sisters and five brothers.He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Smith; his son, Mackie Joe Smith (Shanna) of Paragould; two daughters, Sharon (Garry) Newberry and Peggy Smith of Paragould; grandchildren, Mackie Smith III, Jesse Sherwood, Anhelica and Ricky Casteneda .The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Phillips Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service at 10 am, Thursday August 28, 2013 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Snow officiating.
