Marella Faye Files "Momma Joe", 75, passed away June 17, 2017, at Select Medical in Memphis, TN. She was born November 4, 1941, in Batesville, AR to Valmon and Eva Hollaway. Marella was a member of Church of God. She was known for taking children in. Marella loved to cook, sing and tell jokes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Rayburn Hollaway; three sisters, Doris Neiderbrack, Barbara Johnson, and Ida Hollaway; and three grandchildren, Frankie Norton III, Tiffany Norton and Rachel Norton.

Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Frances and Elizabeth Gates and David and Christine Rojas; two daughters and sons in law, Librada Chamberian and Anthony Tyner and Rebecca Ann and Frank Norton Sr.; four brothers, Charles Hollaway, Val Hollaway, William Hollaway and Franklin Hollaway; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 10-11 a.m. at Monette Cemetery. Following visitation will be a graveside service with Phillip Keeling officiating.

Pallbearers will include Carles Avery, Frankie Norton, Tony Farrer, Richard Johnson, Scott Carter and Chris Gates.
