She was born on December 1, 1918 to Aubrey and Pearl Word, in Marmaduke AR. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Pearl Word; two brothers, Tom Lee and Raymond; her husband, Clyde Lewis; and a son Robert.Margaret is survived by a son and daughter in law, Richard and Linda Lewis of Houston, TX; a daughter in law, Merrilyn of Apache Junction, AZ; a brother in law, Austin Lewis of Jonesboro, AR; a sister in law, Mary Francis Varnell of MI; a caring angel and friend, Janis Partlow of Paragould, AR; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends December 6, 2013 from 11 - 1 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The Services will follow at 1 p.m. in The Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will be at Harveys Chapel in Marmaduke, AR. Lasting memorials can be made to The American Heart Association. or The Children's Home of Paragould, AR.
