Mark Steven McDaniel, 66, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023.   He was born November 24, 1956, in Great Lakes Naval Station, Illinois.  Fast cars and motorcycles were a passion of Mark's.  Mark had a gift of making people laugh no matter what the situation was.  Whether it was telling stories with such enthusiasm, or making sound effects.  He was a giving, loving, honest man who was always true to his word.  Mark was a loving son and dependable friend.  He was a very caring big brother.  Most importantly, he was a wonderful dad.  He loved his daughter, Megan, more than life.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Kelly; brother, Darren McDaniel; and step-mother, Marlene McDaniel.

Survivors include his father, Major McDaniel; daughter, Megan McDaniel; mother of his daughter, Tammy Goodman; stepdaughter, Brandy Cooper (Thomas); grandchildren, Taytem, Rylee, and Avery Cooper; and step-sister, Jeanna Bailey.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, at Phillips Funeral Home with Kent McDaniel officiating.

Mark was truly loved by so many people and he will always be in our hearts.
