Marvin "Steve" Stevenson, 74, of Paragould, passed away on February 5, 2019. He was born December 5, 1944, to Marvin Sr. and Lorene Stevenson. Steve was a Navy veteran and an avid deer hunter. He loved racing and building stock cars. He was a local housing contractor until his retirement.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dortha Gruenhagen, Barbara VanLuven; and grandson, Chandler Austin.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Stevenson; daughters and sons in law, Karla and Wade Stark of Jonesboro, Angelia and Kevin Austin of Black Oak, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Christie Retherford of Paragould; brother, Enoch Stevenson of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; sisters, Carolyn Newton of Bolivar, Missouri, Sherry Davenport of Overland Park, Kansas, Virginia Patterson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Joseph Stark and his fiancé, Elizabeth, Ryan Stark, Chance Austin, and Shannon Retherford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday February 8, from 6:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. A memorial service with military honors will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home.
