Mary Lou Dykstra, born on November 5, 1946, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on June 12, 2026. Throughout her life, Mary Lou was a dedicated homemaker, devoting her time and care to creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family.

She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Lucille Nufer. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Dykstra; her three brothers; two sisters; one son; and one grandchild.

Mary Lou is lovingly remembered by her surviving family members: her son and daughter-in-law, Barny and Emy Dykstra of Michigan; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and James Murphy of Paragould; as well as her thirteen cherished grandchildren (3 boys and 3 girls); and five great-granddaughters. These loved ones carry forward her legacy of kindness, dedication, and familial love.

Mary Lou Dykstra’s life was one marked by love, resilience, and devotion. She will be profoundly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
