Mary Emma Fitzgerald, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born March 11, 1926, to Troy and Elizabeth Shewmaker.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Fitzgerald; brother, Ancil Shewmaker; sisters, Vivian Groves, Gloria Shewmaker; and son, Jimmy Fitzgerald.
Survivors include her brothers, Eddie Shewmaker, Kenneth Shewmaker, David Shewmaker; sister, Eunice Higgins; grandson, Scott Fitzgerald; and great-grandson, Glenn Fitzgerald.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Art Smith and Evan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
