Mary Frances "Judy" Waddell, 76, of Paragould passed away Friday, February 26, 2016.  She was born August 10, 1939 in Coleridge, NC to the late Peter Sanford and Lovie Jane Carter.  Judy loved sewing and quilting.  She was an avid gardener who enjoyed canning from her yearly garden.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, James Edward Waddell; son and daughter in law, James Christopher and Mary Carter; daughters and sons in law, Janet Colleen and Steve Harris, and Karen Melanie and Brian Cox; grandchildren, Shawna Fry, Michael Stewart, Tracey Pak, Eric Carter, Jacob Harris, Tausha Brown, Logan Cox, Zachery Vowell, Erin Dacus and Seth Cox.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 29, 2016, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Terry Watson officiating.  Burial will be at Lorado Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Harris, Michael Stewart, Zach Vowell, Logan Cox, Eric Carter, and Josh Brown.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Carter, Steve Harris, Brian Cox and Tim Fry.
