Mary Girard passed away on November 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1932 to Lee and Rosie Mann, in Portia, AR. She was a faithful member of 10th street Missionary Baptist Church and she loved fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Lee Girard; four sons, Bobby, Dennis Robert and Stan Girard; and two sisters, Arlene Pullium and Zanilla Bellah.Mary is survived by a son, Edward Girard, of Paragould, AR; two daughter and son in laws, Sandra and Rev. Nick Smith of Salem, Mo. and Robin and Andrew Jacobs of Paragould, AR; a brother Eugene Mann; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.The family will receive friends on November 15, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. at the 10th Street Missionary Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2 p.m. with Brother Boyce Cate and Reverend Nick Smith officiating. Burial will be at Crossroads Cemetery in Portia, AR.
