Mary Lois "Herrod" Steele, 65, of Paragould, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. She was born July 12, 1952, to Wayne and Lois Herrod. Mary worked at L. A. Darling until retiring after 38 years. She enjoyed reading books and loved watching all kinds of movies. Mary loved spending time with her grandkids.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Karena Melinda Morgan-Burke.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Cody Oldham of Paragould; brothers, Charles Herrod and Jerry Herrod; sisters, Nelda Bromberg and Opal Marlar; and grandchildren, Zake Morgan-Noel, Tyner Oldham, and Jaley Oldham.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 31, at 10 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Packy Magel officiating. Burial will be private.
