Melvin Robertson, 77, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 16, 2011. He was born July 15, 1933 in Piggott, Arkansas to Arthur and Enda Robertson. He was an Army veteran and the founder of the Mission Outreach in Paragould. Melvin loved hunting and trapping and the outdoors. Melvin is survived by his wife Ann of the home; two sons, Melvin Eugene Robertson, Jr. and Jimmy Dale "Shelia" Robertson of Paragould; four daughters, Melba "Chad" Babin of Houma, LA, Judy "Ronnie" Hammett of Brooklyn, AR, Linda"Marty" Harris of Hoxie, AR and Shelia "Donny" Blain of Jonesboro, AR; Three brothers, Joe, Johnie, and Don Robertson, and one sister, Rozella Stanley along with several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, David Cornwell, one daughter, Michelle Robertson, three brothers, Arthur, Jay and Jimmy Robertson and four sisters, Adis Mae, Judy, Edith and Lady.The family will be receiving friends from 10am – 12pm Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be at 12pm in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips with Tom Wellman officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery.
