Melvin Swink, 83, of Paragould passed away October 11, 2020, at St. Bernards. He was born July 28, 1937 in Rector, to Willis and Altie Swink. He enjoyed camping, was a hard worker and took pride in providing for his family. He was very proud of his older son, Melvin Swink, Jr. for his 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline Swink; son, Dewayne Swink;  brothers, David Swink and Rollen Houston Swink.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin Swink, Jr. (Carol) and Rollen Swink (Deborah); daughter and son-in-law, Janie Crosby (Bob): nine grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

There will be a graveside service Friday, October 16, 2020, 1:00 pm at New Liberty Cemetery with Raymond Atwood officiating.
