Michael Dean Mitchell, 86, of Paragould, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Lakeside Nursing Home. He was born February 19, 1930, to the late Clinton and Grace Mitchell.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Barbara Mitchell; one daughter and son in law, Michele and Rodney Weaver, of Paragould; two sons and daughter in law, Michael Mitchell, of Batesville, and Merle and Vickie Mitchell, of Walnut Ridge; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers; and a multitude of family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 11, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Stan Mitchell and John Everett officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
