Michael Joe Rippy passed away April 29, 2025.  Our family is sorrowful for his passing, as our loss is great.  He had a quiet voice with a booming heart.  A kind soul with hardworking hands.  He cherished his family and friends.

He was 60 years old, the first child of Sharon and Bobby Joe Rippy.  He was preceded in death by his dad.  He will be remembered with much love by his heartbroken mom, Sharon Deffendall and her husband, Ed Deffendall.  His wife, Tammy has lost the love of her life, her best friend, and partner for adventure.

He is survived by his brother, Kelly Rippy, his wife Lindsay and sister, Jennifer Rippy who were very close.  He leaves behind his children, Chelsea Kreutzer, Nicolas Rippy and his wife Whitley, Cody Hill, Erin Preyer, and Eric Preyer who will always hold a special place.  Several grandchildren he loved dearly, Braxton and Brooklen Kreutzer, Kennedie, Bellamee, and Atticus Rippy, Ashton Preyer, Ava, Ruby, and Sadie Hill.  His niece and nephew, Roxie and Ranger.

We appreciate greatly all the others not mentioned here who played such an important part of his life, never to be forgotten and forever cherished.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
