Mickey Luther Clayton, 70, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was born May 27, 1948, to Luther and Ruby Clayton. Mickey was of Baptist faith, was always willing to help people, and enjoyed being around others. Mickey loved watching Nascar, working outdoors, hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved spending time with his wife and dogs.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Harold Clayton; and sisters, Melba Broadway and Naomi Brannan.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sallie Ann Clayton; sons and daughter in law, Stacy Clayton, Randal and Marla Clayton; daughter, Nickie Clayton; sister, Shirley Perry; grandchildren, Rebecca Clayton, Zach Clayton, Laurren Murphy, Chase Clayton, Kendra Clayton; and great-grandchildren, Ivory Grace Harris, Everlyanne Murphy.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Michael Barrow, Bryce Barrow, Eddie Bennett, Jason Finley, Lee Klingensmith, and Logan Lutz will serve as pallbearers.
