Mona Kaye Smith, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. She was born October 22, 1948, to Guy Tate and Frances Waters. Mona Kaye was a resident of the Belle Meade Cottages and enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved her family and enjoyed visiting with friends, family, and cherished the time with her grandchildren.
Mona Kaye was preceded in death by her parents and half sister, Tommi Nell Tate.
Survivors include her daughter, Sondra Lawrence; son in law, Mark Lawrence; twin grandsons, Chad Lawrence (Kailyn) and Brad Lawrence; sister, Melissa Greer (Dale); nieces, Jenny Cardona and Lauren Greer; and aunt, Bonnie Ritsmon.
A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be Tuesday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at Clark's Chapel Cemetery.
