Morris Dale Ward, 76, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022.  He was born February 17, 1946, in Leachville, Arkansas, to Odis and Ethel Ward.  Engraving on rocks and acorns was a rare talent Morris had.  He enjoyed searching for 4 leaf clovers in his yard.  Morris loved to sing gospel songs and he loved his Lord and Savior.  Morris was an active member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.  He was dearly loved by his family and friends.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard, Earl, Jerry and Richard; infant daughter, Baby Ward; and granddaughter, Angela Phillips.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Linda "Gragg" Ward; sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie Ward and Alicia Shaw of Paragould, Wesley Ward and Christy Hallmark of Paragould; daughters and sons-law, Kelei Ward of Paragould, Sara and Dallas Stone of Paragould, Rachel and James Crider of Pangburn, Arkansas; brother, Jim Ward; sister, Karen Clark; grandchildren, Keisha Williams, Tiffany Ward Melton, Delphia Ward, Kai Crider, Jacalyn Phillips (Jason), Missy McCord (Justin), Kyle Phillips and Dallas Stone; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 14, from 4:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
