Nealy Lucille Songer, 85, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She was born January 4, 1933, to Leo and Claudie Reed. Lucille was a member of Walcott Baptist Church for many years. Presently, she was a member of Finch Baptist Church. She actively helped with Sunday School classes. Lucille worked as a dental assistant. Above all, she was a loving mother and MeMe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Songer; daughter, Linda Vaughn Jones; and sister, Juanita Conn.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Diane Songer; son-in-law, Steve Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and J.H. Burton; grandchildren, Christi Sims (Shannon), Brian Songer (Lacey), and Brad Vaughn (Kate); great-grandchildren, Ella Songer, Brooke Rosten, and Madison Sims; great-great-grandchild, Kynslee Rosten; and nieces and nephews, Darlene Boozer, Debbie Conn, Greg Conn, Beecher Conn, Thomas Gill, and Deana Rogers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 15, at 10 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Terry Songer officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Brian Songer, Brad Vaughn, Ryan Boozer, Carl Boozer, Shannon Sims, and Terry Songer. Steve Jones will serve as honorary pallbearer.
