Noel Wayne Garman, 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born September 14, 1931, to Gorden and Eva Garman. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. After retiring in California, Noel moved back to Arkansas where he greatly enjoyed the rest of his retirement in his home state. He was a dedicated member of the New Covenant Worship Center and drove the children's bus for 12 years. Above all, Noel was a dedicated husband.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon Davis; brother, Verlon Garman; and sister, Vivian Bass.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Katherine Garman; son and daughter in law, Wayne and Patty Garman; stepchildren, John Thomas and Diane Kinder, Mary Ingels, and Liz Kinder; grandchildren, Nicole and Jeff; step grandchildren, Tawny, Holly, Cody, and Rex; and a number of great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 1, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Larry Bulla officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Bono.
