Ora Mae Bryant, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 81. Born on November 27, 1943, in Paragould, Arkansas, Ora Mae's life was one of joy, resilience, and unwavering kindness. She was a woman who cherished the simple pleasures of life.

Ora Mae's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew her. She found great satisfaction in tending to her garden.  A strong and independent woman, Ora Mae's resilience was as steadfast as the wood stove she kept burning through the winters. She took pride in chopping her own wood. Her independence was an inspiration, encouraging those around her to embrace their own strengths.

Family gatherings were the highlight of Ora Mae's life, especially when surrounded by her cherished grandchildren. Her face would light up with an incomparable glow at the sight of her loved ones. Ora Mae's presence was a comforting embrace, a reminder of the bonds that tie a family together.

Ora Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Mae Bryant and four siblings.

Survivors include her son, Edward Saffell; daughters, Betty Burris, Karen Amstutz, Melba White, and Brigetta Cummings; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Burial will be private.
