Orville Jerry Davis, 84, of Paragould, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. He was born October 29, 1938, to Marion and Audie Davis. In his younger years, he was a farmer in Paragould. Jerry lived in St. Louis for many years and worked as a carpenter. He moved to Paragould years later and built houses.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elsie Mae Mather, Rachel Lawanda Formon; and brother, Melvin Davis, and Calvin Davis.

Survivors include his son, Steve (Sara) Davis; daughters, Jerri Leighann Calderone, Deborah (Jimmy) Ivy; brothers, Danny (Judy) Davis, Allen (Karen) Davis, Jack (Rhonda) Davis, Myron (Mary) Davis; sisters, Frances Bowman, Bonnie Sue Pava; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Don Slatton officiating. Burial will follow at Cardwell Cemetery.
