Patsy Joan Yates, 84, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022.  She was born May 2, 1938, in Cardwell, Missouri, to Herman and Hazel Toombs.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Maxy Crockett; granddaughter, Morgan Crockett; step-daughter, Debra Sue Rothgery; and step-son, Jerry Yates.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Crockett (Tom Papachristou); sons, Steve Crockett and Scott Crockett; husband: JD Yates; sisters, Karen Daniels (Butch) and Linda Terry; nieces, Stacey Jackson and Danita Gibson; nephew, Grayson Daniels; step-children, Tina Pickney, Jason Yates, Brent Maynard, and Deanna Yates; grandchildren, Nick Papachristou, Kagen Crockett, and Misty Crockett Clardy; great-grandchild, Kobe Papachristou; and many loving step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 26, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Book officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tom Papachristou, Butch Daniels, Jimmy Foley, Tommy Wofford, Scott Pickney, and Keith Yates.  Charlton Gibson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
