Obituary

Paul Junior Jaques, 81, of Mountain Home, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. He was born March 4, 1940, to Arnold and Pauline Jaques. Paul served in the Army from 1962 - 1965. He worked until retiring from L. A. Darling after 32 years. In 1965, he married the love of his life, Raetta Chaney, and was selfless devoted to her for the rest of his life.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Jaques.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Raetta Jaques; son who was his caregiver, Paul W. Jaques (Theresa) of Mountain Home; devoted granddaughter, Heather Lewallen (Josh) of Marmaduke; great-granddaughter, Scout Lewallen of Marmaduke; daughter, Raella Greene (Mike) of Paragould; brothers, Terry, Eddie, and Bill Jaques; sisters, Barb Hailey, Brenda Mathis, Carolyn Sanders, Joann Cord, and Thelma Rogers; grandchildren, Michael and Erin Greene, Major Kyle Wayne and Amanda Jaques; step grandchildren, Shanna and Richard Payne, Matt and Amber Sutton, Zac and Melanie Sutton; great-grandchildren, Sylas Greene, Willow Greene, Holland and James Wayne Jaques; and step great-grandchildren, Emily, Allison, and Levi Payne, Pruett and Giles Sutton.
A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be held on Monday, April 19, at 10:00 a.m. at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Jack Hailey and Josh Lewallen officiating.
Lasting memorials may be made to Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church.
