Peggy Hill, 88, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021. She was born October 7, 1932, to Allen and Mary Long. Peggy loved spending time with her family and taking care of her home. She enjoyed working in the garden, fishing, and dancing.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Hill; sons, Joe Alan Hill and Ira Brian Hill; and siblings, Hughey, Herbert, Earnestine, Viola, Valmar, Billie Grace, and Frank.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Ward; grandchildren, Amanda Hill, Whitney Kremers, Jerrica Ramirez, and Jeremy Hill; great-grandchildren, Aiden Blake Thompson, Brently Dean Hill, Bella Ramirez, Jessie Ramirez, and two on the way.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with David White officiating. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.
