Peggy Jean Stone-Goldman, 72, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. She was born July 25, 1940 to Milburn and Elsie Hurn. Peggy attended Church on the Rock and was an active volunteer for the Salvation Army. A full time minister's wife for over 21 years, she was over women's ministries and an active choir member. She was a licensed Emergency Medical Technician where she used those skills as a clinic clerk at Ft. Zunwalt School District. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Keith Stone and a brother, Glendal Hurn.Mrs. Stone-Goldman is survived by her husband, Rudy Goldman; three daughters, Robin (Mark) Withers of Springfield, MO, Sherry Stone of O'Fallon, MO and Kelley Jones also of Springfield; one brother, Kenneth Hurn and two sisters, Linda Waggoner and Wayvon Smith; five grandchildren, Tara Rutherford, Tyler Trivitt, Anthony Withers and Blake and Brooke Jones.Visitation will be Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Phillips Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and service will follow at 2:00 PM. Keith Waggoner will officiate services and burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.Pallbearers will include, Tyler Trivitt, Blake Jones, Kevin Smith, Chris Smith, Clay Hurn, and Chuck Bonney. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Withers, Anthony Withers and Donald Rutherford.
