Phyllis Ann "Simpson" Cox, 66, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018, at her residence.  She was born May 3, 1952, in Jonesboro, to Julius Ralph Simpson, Sr. and Edith Simpson.  After Phyllis' retirement from GE, she sold Avon.  She was very proud to produce over 10,000 sales a year.  Phyllis was a homemaker and wonder decorator.  She cared for her husband, Richard, until he passed away.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 33 years, Richard Cox; and brothers, Mike, Ralph, and Bob Simpson.

Survivors include her son, Heath Cox and his partner, Bo Surber; mother in law, Alma Cox; brothers, Steve, Dennis, and Benny Simpson; sister, Tammy Earnhart; and her beloved dog, Sampson.
