Phyllis Darlene Lamb, 56, of Paragould, passed away at her home on Friday, May 9, 2025.  She had struggled with health problems for many years.  Phyllis was born on April 27, 1969, in Paragould, to Ben Sr. and Dorothy Johnson.  She worked at Captain Joe's and as a nursing assistant for many years.  Due to her health, she had to stop working at a young age, and embraced being a mother and grandmother.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husbands, John Barnes and Eric Lamb; and a niece and a nephew, Jasmine Johnson and Harly Knuckles.

Phyllis married John Barnes and they had 4 children together in the 10-year marriage: John Barnes (J.J), Alisha Barnes, Sarah (Marty) Barnes, and Colton (Arianna) Barnes.  She then married Eric Lamb and they were together for 21 years.  Together they adopted their grandchildren, Alisa and Hayleigh Lamb.  Phyllis has 11 grandchildren: Ethan Barnes, Alisa Lamb, Hayleigh Lamb, Madison Barnes, Lexi Clifton, Adrienne Crabtree, Jaykob Travis, Johnathan Crabtree, Maverick Barnes, Ranger Barnes, and Willis Barnes; and a great-granddaughter, Kalahni Franklin.  She is also survived by her parents; siblings, Bena (Robb) Robinson, Dana Knuckles, and Ben (Karen) Johnson, Jr.; special friends, Billy Greenway; as well as many friends and family that she dearly loved.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 13, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at noon at Phillips Funeral Home with Jeffery Carroll officiating.  Burial will follow at Hartsoe Cemetery.

J.J. Barnes, Colton Barnes, Ben Johnson, Jr., Izaak Willis, Dewayne Smith, and Bradly Knuckles will serve as pallbearers.  Jaykob Travis, Johnathan Crabtree, and Maverick Barnes will serve as honorary pallbearers.
