Obituary

Ralph Edward Greene, a cherished soul known for his unwavering faith, love for the great outdoors, and devotion to his family, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on November 20, 1946, Ed's life was a testament to the joy and love he found in the simple pleasures of life.

A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, Ed's commitment to his faith was evident in his regular attendance and participation in church activities. His love for worshipping the Lord was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and guidance through all of life's moments.

Ed's passion for the outdoors was unparalleled. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found solace in the quiet of the woods and the ripple of the streams. The thrill of the hunt and the patience of the catch were joys that he cherished, almost as much as the satisfaction of sharing a meal of his bounty with loved ones.

Road trips, dancing, and long walks were among Ed's favorite activities, each offering him unique opportunities to explore, celebrate, and reflect. His love for dancing was infectious, often being the life of the party and encouraging others to join in the fun.

A true family man, Ed's heart was fullest when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. His home was often the hub of laughter and storytelling, especially during his favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. He took great pride in his large and spectacular vegetable garden, which not only served as a source of nourishment but also as a symbol of his dedication to nurturing and growth.

Ed's musical talents, particularly his skill with the drums and guitar, brought joy to many and served as a form of expression that spoke to his soul. His music was a gift that he generously shared, creating a legacy of melody and rhythm that will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of listening.

Professionally, Ed spent many years in the construction industry, where his hard work and craftsmanship were evident in every project he undertook. His strong work ethic and commitment to quality were traits that he passed down to future generations.

Ed's life was a beautiful composition of faith, nature, music, and family.
