Richard Hall Horne, 74, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020.  He was born October 21, 1945, to Otho and Alvine Horne.  Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a lifelong duck hunter.  Richard carried his love for the outdoors over into his career of farming and after he retired he worked as a professional dirt mover.  He was a member of East Side Baptist Church.  Richard was a family man and will be dearly missed.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leonard Horne, Glenn Horne, and Phillip Horne.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Horne of the home; son and daughter in law, Tony and Susan Horne of Paragould; daughter, Sherry Trice of Cardwell, Missouri; sisters and brothers in law, Shirley Douglas, Linda and Glenn Holloman, and Kathie and Donnie Miles; grandchildren, Matthew (Teri) Horne, Amanda (Brad) Poe, Ashley (Allen) Morgan, and Whitnee Palmer; great grandchildren, Hannah Tomlinson, Alicia Tomlinson, Jace Tomlinson, Falan Poe, Molly Poe, Cache Horne, and Clay Horne.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, at Phillips Funeral Home with Kim Bridges officiating.  Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.

Brad Poe, Bobby Henson, Alfred Henson, Keith Adams, Gary Henson, Rodney McClelland, Steve Kueter, and Allen Morgan have the honor to serve as pallbearers.
