Richard Wayne Johnson, 76, of Paragould, passed away June 5, 2016, at his residence.   He was born in Malden, Missouri, November 4, 1939, to the late Charles and Virginia Johnson.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Buddy, Jerry and Charles Joseph Johnson, and Ronald Doty.
Survivors include Marlene Johnson, of the home; daughter and son in law, Virginia and Doug Wellsted; step children, Donald, Allan, Joe, Dale, and Mary; brothers, Henry and Wendal Johnson; sisters, Gloria Doty, Patsy Puckett, Peggy Cambron, Edna Powell, Sarah Johnson, and Becky Johnson; aunt, Laura Jane Southern; grandchildren, James and Jacob Wellsted; great grandchildren, Alec and Adleigh Wellsted.
A graveside service will begin at 3:00 p.m. June 8 at New Friendship Cemetery under the care of Phillips Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be James West, Jacob Wellsted, James Wellsted, Scott Doty, Cody Moore and Joseph Moore.
