Ricky Carlton Cannon, 69, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021.  He was born May 28, 1952, in Paragould, to Robert "Cork" and Janette Cannon.  Ricky was a hard worker; he worked for 48 years at Tenneco.  Hunting and traveling were among Ricky's favorite hobbies when he was younger.  He was fun to be around and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Above all, Ricky was devoted to his family and proud of his grandson, Brady.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father; wife, Mary Jena Cannon; niece, Brynne Wortham; and mother-in-law, Mary Willodean Bolar.

Survivors include his mother; daughter, Sarah Cannon and her fiancé Eric Spencer; grandson, Brady Wyatt Lancaster; sisters, Joyette White and Kimberly Dong (Aaron); niece, Kaitlin Dong; nephew, Shawn White; great-niece, Megan White; father-in-law, Bill Bolar; sisters-in-law, Dena Bolar-Graves (Claude) and Sheila Stubblefield (Tony); and niece, Jennah Stubblefield.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 27, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, at Phillips Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Eric Spencer, Shawn White, Aaron Dong, Shannon Dicus, Lanny Stewart, and Michael Webbe will serve as pallbearers.
