Ronald Gene Crossno October 19, 1952 - December 19, 2013 Ronald Crossno, 61, passed away at his residence in Paragould, AR on December 19, 2013. He was born in Lafe, AR to Andrew and Julia Crossno on October 19, 1952. Ronald was a retired truck driver of forty three years, twenty of those years were spent with Dana where he received three one million mile safety awards. He also loved hunting, fishing and spending time at his cabin. Ronald was also of the Baptist Faith.He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Julia Crossno and David and Margie Grimes; five brothers, Charlie Crossno, Joe Crossno, Bill Crossno, Jerry Crossno, and Micheal Grimes; and two sisters, Wilma Howard and Sterline Beasley.Ronald is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Crossno; a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Lora Crossno; a daughter Jerrie Ann Crossno; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Wanda Grimes; three sisters and brother-in-law, Stella Robertson, Vicky Harrington and Shirley and Charles Millay; and one grandchild, Karlee Jo McCarty. The family will receive friends Saturday December 21, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Services will be Sunday December 22, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home, with Dr. James Huggins officiating. Burial will be at Browns Chapel Cemetery. Lasting memorials can be made to UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute in Little Rock, AR.Serving as pallbearers will be Melvin Howard, Jimmy Miller, Stan Garner, John Huggins, Carl Fesler and Steve Hyde. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Walker, Dean Carlton, Gerald Clark, Tim Bishop, Willie Gene Williams, James Beasley and Terry Millay.
