Robert Lee "Pop" Pitcher Sr., 85, of Paragould, passed away April 27, 2014 at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was born August 15, 1928 to the late Henry Oliver and Sarah Bell (Stout) Pitcher. Mr. Pitcher enjoyed fishing and taking the grand kids to KFC. Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Lois Davis; sons, Robert Lee "Bobby" Pitcher Jr., Darrell Wayne Pitcher; son in law, Donnie Smith; great granddaughter Gracie Layne Robbins.His survivors include his wife, Dollie Mae Pitcher; sons and daughter in law, Wendell Eugene and Pamela Pitcher, Michael Pitcher, all of Paragould; daughters and son in law, Dian Smith of Rogers, AR, Linda and Shay Stacy of Paragould, AR; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.The family will receive friends April 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be April 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with L.R. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Ridge Cemetery.Serving as Pallbeaers will be Fince Fisher, Billy Lancaster, Randy Price, Alvin Skimahorn, Matt Copeland and Tom Lockwood.
