Robert "Bob" Ward, 74, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018.  He was born September 20, 1943, in Piggott, to Burel and Juanita Ward.  Bob worked for the Memphis Fire Department for 25 years, the Arkansas State Police for 5 years, and then served as the Greene County Jail Administrator for several years.   Bob enjoyed rodeos and trail riding.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carol "Ann" Ward; daughters and sons in law, Kelley and Bob Mayhue, Carla and Tony Latham, Cari and Kenneth Gulley; brother, Bill Ward; and grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Mayhue, Mallory and Natalie Gulley, and Trevor Latham.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
