Obituary

Robin Lynette Hoke Addison, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born on July 8, 1963, in Jonesboro, Robin lived a life defined by devotion to others, warmth, and dedicated service to her community.

Robin graduated in 1982 from Nettleton High School. Her professional journey was marked by commitment and compassion. She worked for many years at the Revenue Department in Jonesboro, where she contributed her skills with diligence and integrity. Later, she devoted herself to caregiving through the Northeast Arkansas Area Agency on Aging, embodying her true nature as a devoted caregiver who touched the lives of many with kindness and empathy.

Known for her sweet spirit, Robin found great joy in spending time with her husband, Larry Addison. Together, they shared a passion for drag racing, a hobby that brought excitement and fun into their lives. Robin enthusiastically supported Larry’s interest in cars, lending her hands and heart as they worked together on automotive projects. Beyond her immediate family, she took immense pride in nurturing close bonds with her nieces and nephews, who remember her for her caring and affectionate presence.

Robin is lovingly remembered by her husband, Larry Addison of 41 years, who stood by her side through life’s many moments. Her surviving family includes her brothers, Dennis Hoke (Robin) and Kevin Hoke (Sheryl); sisters, Phyllis Tilley and Jana Davis (Kavin); her step-mother, Geraldine “Mah” Hoke; her father-in-law, John W. Addison; sisters-in-law, Kristin Addison-Brown (Brandon), Kathy Addison and Lily Addison; brother-in-law, Bruce Addison (Vickie); as well as a special nephew, Trevor Hoke Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews who treasured her deeply.

Robin was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Hoke; mother, Loretta Hoke; her mother-in-law, Margaret Dalrich; step mother-in-law, Norma Mann Addison; and brother-in-law, Larry Tilley.

A visitation in honor of Robin Lynette Addison will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The celebration of life will begin at 2:00 PM with Stan Ballard officiating.

Robin’s legacy is one of love, care, and wholehearted dedication to the people and passions that defined her life. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered with respect and affection by all who knew her.
