Roger Bobo, 66, of Paragould, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born March 13, 1956, to Norris and Laverne Bobo. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time at his place at the lake with his family. He also enjoyed dancing with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, his dogs, and his famous garden and canning his vegetables. He retired from the  ASU farm after 20 years.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Viola Bobo; sons, Justin Bobo (Amanda Wilson), Josh Bobo (Tara), Rodney Lanier all of Paragould; daughter, Melissa West of Brookland; brothers, Billy Bobo, Byron Bobo; and grandchildren, Blake, Gavin, Conner, Gracie, Gus, Jeb, Sofia, and Harmonie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jeff Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Kelly Forkum, Justin Bobo, Josh Bobo, Anthony Baird, Mike Johnson, and Gary Bailey will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Mr. Louis, Joe Wineland, Rodney Lanier, and Blake West.
