IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roger William
Glueck
October 27, 1957 – March 2, 2026
Visitation
Phillips Funeral Home
10:00 am - 12:00 pm (Central time)
Roger William Glueck, a long-time successful farmer in Arbyrd, Missouri, raising cotton, beans, wheat, and watermelons, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 68. Born on October 27, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Roger dedicated his life not only to farming but also to the nurturing of family and friendships that enhanced his life.
He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau and later from Southeast Missouri State with an accounting degree, which laid the foundation for his fruitful career in farming. Over the years, Roger's hard work and dedication fostered not only a thriving farm but also a strong sense of community among those who knew him.
In 2012, following his retirement, Roger relocated to Marmaduke, where he cherished his homeplace. He found joy in swimming, never missing a day, and relished afternoons spent with friends at the bar, gathering each day at 4 p.m. These moments were treasured by Roger.
Roger is survived by his beloved wife or as he referred to her as “My wunnerful wittle wifey,” Vicky Glueck, with whom he shared 36 years of love and marriage and numerous dogs and horses. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Michelle Glueck, Sarah Jo Kelley (Eric), and Anna De Bie (T.J.), and a proud granddaddy to Jackson Kelley, Monroe Kelley, Case De Bie, and Caroline De Bie. He is also survived by his brother, Fred Glueck, and his sisters, Lana Arnzen, Judy Christoff (Dave), and Linda Bollinger.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Melvin and Ann Glueck, whose love and guidance shaped the man Roger became.
Visitation services for Roger will be held on March 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home, 4904 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR.
