Ronald "Ronnie" Ryles, 80, of Paragould, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was born September 27, 1941, to Cecil and Virginia Ryles. Ronnie was an Air Force Reserve Veteran. He worked at Darling until retiring in 2007 with almost 40 years of service. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his daily golf outings with his golfing buddies. Ronnie was a strong family oriented man, loved to laugh, and enjoyed family. He was a loving husband, father, and father in law, and very involved with his grandsons. He was always there with supportive hands, kind words, and a life lesson for them.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Glenna Ryles; daughter, Vanessa Harris (Todd); brother, Gary Ryles (Barbara); sister, Ann Marie Guinn (Frank); grandchildren, Talon Harris and Kegan Harris; and a host of extended family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Terry Melton officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Todd Harris, Talon Harris, Kegan Harris, Jerry Jernigan, Don Purcell, and Mitchell Smith will serve as pallbearers.
