Ronnie Virgil Harris, 68, passed from the earthly life at his home on May 8, 2022, into his eternal rest with the Lord.

Ronnie was retired from Emerson Electric after 30 years of employment.  After retirement, he enjoyed fishing, taking care of his pets, family gatherings, and talking with everyone.  He never met a stranger and would do anything he could for anyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Virgil and Estel (Pegg) Harris; two sisters, an infant sister and Dorotha Martin; one brother, J.E. Harris; and a nephew, Jeffery Forehand.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Margaret Harris of the home; one son, Bryan Harris of Paragould; one daughter, Brittany Harris of Paragould; two grandchildren, Lily and Jackson Hall; three sisters, Wanda Forehand of Elizabeth, Arkansas, Betty Weese of Knobel, Arkansas, Glenda (Larry) King of Paragould; a sister-in-law, Ozella Harris of Paragould; a special friend, Danny Hart of Paragould; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jody Faulkner officiating.  Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery.

Marty Harris, Kevin King, Bobby Wilson, Todd Harris, Greg King, and Gary Martin will serve as pallbearers.  Ronnie's nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
