Rosetta Mae Kersey-Gray, of Paragould, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. She was born January 22, 1931 in Greene County, AR to Dick and Mattie Lee Kersey. She retired from the Paragould School District, where she worked for 30 years in the cafeteria. She was a member of Grace United General Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Dick and Mattie Lee Kersey; husband, Elzworth Gray; brothers, Jim Kersey and Orville Kersey; sisters, Flora Kersey, Emma Pitcher and Minnie Brewer.
Rosetta is survived by her son and daughter in law, Danny and Debra Gray; daughters and sons in law, Jane and Jimmy White, Carolyn and Leslie Ashby; brothers, Ray Kersey and Melvin Kersey; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, January 17, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016, in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Royce Schanda and Josh Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Ashby, Jonathan White, Christopher Gray, Brian Gray, Tracy White and Chad White. Honorary Pallbearers are Chase Willcutt, Xay Young, Gage Gray and Casey Cox.
