Sandra Lee Sheppard, 57, of Fontaine, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023.  She was born February 26, 1966, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to James and Theda VanHoozer.  Arts and crafts were a passion of Sandra's.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.  Sandra loved her church family at Abundant Life Tabernacle.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Robert Sheppard; mother, Theda VanHoozer; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Tylor Dodd; sister, Sabrina Boozer; nieces, Jessica Boozer, Andrea Boozer, and Lucretia Cockrum; and  grandchildren, Payton and Paisley Dodd, and one on the way, Colson Dodd.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 18, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Tony Becker officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

David Sheppard, Chris Irvin, Tylor Dodd, Dean Wall, Justin Carter, and Brandon Clary will serve as pallbearers.
