Serena Fulkerson, 69, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016.  She was born November 30, 1946, in Paragould to the late Weldon Edward McDaniel and Martha Jean Riggsbee.  Serena was a Razorback fan and loved music.  She was of Baptist faith.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was the most generous, kind person and would help anyone in need.  Serena will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Serena was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Teresa Foster; and grandson, Drew Garrett Scott.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Fulkerson, of the home; son, Charles "Junior" Scott, of Paragould; daughters and sons in law, Carla Jean Tackkett, Kelly and Greg Adkerson, Shera and Will Rock, all of Paragould; brother, Stanley McDaniel; sisters, Karen Bryson, LaDonna Bowen, and Debbie West; grandchildren, Ashlee Miller, Hayden Cooper, Jillia Honeycutt, Cameron Adkerson, Kalee Adkerson, and Jolee Scott; and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home.  The service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Terry Songer officiating.  Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery.

Lynn Ratliff, Derek Miller, Jim Bo Myrick, Hayden Cooper, David Carr, and Cameron Adkerson will serve as pallbearers.
