Shelba Jean Harvey, 83, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born July 7, 1937, to Joe and Lorene McDaniel. Shelba was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family. Shopping was her favorite pastime and she was a member of 7th and Mueller Church of Christ.
Shelba was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Van Dale Harvey; and brother, Guy McDaniel.
Survivors include her son, Tim Harvey; daughter, Cheryl Corby; brothers, Danny McDaniel and Sammy McDaniel; sister, Freda Paule; grandchildren, Brandy Otto, John Van Otto, Kirby McChristian; and great-grandchildren, Lexi McChristian, Dale Lee McChristian, Gunner Johnson, Isabella Newsom, and Ava Lynn Newsom.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 16, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery. The graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery with Randy Britton officiating.
