Stanley Keith Orick, 55, of Paragould passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at his residence.  He was born August 2, 1963, in Jonesboro to Stillman and Ruth Orick of Paragould.  He was a 1981 graduate of Oak Grove High School.  Stan was of Baptist faith.  He loved operating heavy equipment; he was formerly employed by the Greene County Road Department until his health issues forced him to retire in June 2018.  He was an outgoing person who never met a stranger.  Stan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Stan was preceded in death by his father, Stillman Orick; grandparents, Roy and Lucille Orick, David and Geneva Coleman.

Stan is survived by one daughter, Amber Cook; grandsons, Korbyn and Asher; his mother, Ruth Orick; one sister, Vickie (Donnie) Hopkins of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two nephews, Josh and Jake Hopkins of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Saturday, November 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Rick Clark and Don Slatton officiating.  Burial will follow at Morrow Cemetery.
